With an average run load of 400 to 600 runs per year The West Odessa Volunteer Fire Department (WOVFD), located in West Texas, provides Fire and First Responder service to approx. 25,000 citizens in Ector County.

Our department started in 1978 and since then has become a department that the citizens can count on.

The West Odessa Volunteer Fire Department is certified by the Texas Department of Health as First Responders.

We are always looking for new members. We meet every Monday night at 7:30 pm at our station #1 located at 2757 N Tripp. If you are interested please click here. membership
